Broken Promise Keeper. (2016)

If you like your power pop fast, catchy and just a little off center, you’ll really dig the latest from Broken Promise Keeper. Eleven tracks in all, Rob Stuartemphasizes the power in power pop and we, the listeners reap the benefits. I can say with some certainty that I’ve never heard anything quite like “Sasquatch Love”. Catchy as all get-go, it’s just a little bit twisted (okay, maybe a lot twisted) and it’ll bring on a chuckle or two, for sure. Back in the day, “Sasquatch Love” would have been a favorite on The Dr. Demento Show " (read entire review)

"BPK doesn't break the promise of prime power pop... his best effort to date. The standout tracks being the effervescent "She's So Cool", the Merseyside-influenced "Sasquatch Love" (read entire review)

"A Broken Promise Keeper record is like that video of a mountain bike tearing down the side of a cliff, or one of those sky divers in the flying squirrel outfits jumping off the Matterhorn. Pure adrenalin. BPK's ziggurat-like structures are superbly dynamic, all the more amazing because he does it all himself -- Five stars." (read entire review)

Ice Cold Pop. (2009)

Top Powerpop Albums of 2009 — #4
"Straight-ahead pop rock as addictive as crack. Not only does he sound effortless, he sounds unique in a way I haven’t heard since the first Marshall Crenshaw album. He defines his territory — the half acoustic straight ahead rocker (Tom Petty, Crenshaw, Billy Joel) and hits you with a triple combination that leaves you dazed and wanting more. 'Directions,' 'Worship From Afar,' and 'Kristine' constitute three of the most killer first songs I’ve heard in years. Effortless ass-kickin’ mastery." (read entire article)
